Seeking a challenging but rewarding opportunity with a great company - please apply with with us at Staff Electric.Competitive wages and excellent benefitsThe office is located at W133N5030 Campbell Drive, Menomonee Falls, WISummary:Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator helps coordinate all administrative duties pertaining to the project delivery process, including but not limited to correspondence with the owner, general contractor, vendor and field personnel. Assists with organizing and controlling release of project order documents to support the project schedule.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This list is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Assist in filing and distribution of project specific correspondence, such as bid invitations, bid documents, construction documents, contracts, purchase orders, schedules, etc.
  • Support the Project Manager with initial project setup, such as job request forms, certificates of insurance, cloud document storage, etc.
  • Set up team meetings, take notes and fill out any/all required project specific templates.
  • Create bid proposal letters/Bid Forms and submit to the owner/client/general contractor.
  • Assist in the tracking of construction costs, such as contracts, change order management, scope revision extras and project/client invoicing.
  • Assist in the tracking of procurement, such as vendor/subcontractor purchase orders, product submittals/approvals, material releases and associated invoices.
  • Assist field personnel with other construction related documentation as requested, such as work breakdowns, drawing updates/revisions, requests for information, printing drawings, permits, panel directories, etc.
  • Assist with development/tracking of project specific work breakdown structure
  • Assist with scheduling of work, including review of project schedule along with job specific milestone dates, creating relational ties to predecessor/successor tasks along as well as managing resource loading to assist with manpower and material tracking.
  • Compile and submit close-out related documentation, such as Operation & Maintenance Manuals, As-Built installation drawings, product record drawings, warranties, certificates, test results, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Undergraduate Degree highly desired but not required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Project experience within construction is desired but not required.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, copier/printer, scanner, plotter, telephone and computer.
  • Solid skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project is desired but not required.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strength in people management, trouble shooting, systems, process and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, while being self-motivated and maintaining a positive attitude while working under pressure.
  • Systemic organizational skills.
Education and/or Experience:Undergraduate Degree highly desired but not required. Must possess a high school diploma, or equivalent.
