Job Title :Sr Project Scheduler Location: Pontiac, MI Full-time on-site ResponsibilitiesLead the development and ongoing management of project, program, proposal, and contract schedules.Establish and maintain comprehensive schedules for designated disciplines or specialties.Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), estimate activity durations, design workflow logic, and create resource-loaded schedules.Monitor and analyze project schedules to identify critical path activities, potential risks, and forecast project impacts.Prepare and present schedule performance metrics, detailed reports, and forecasts to management and stakeholders.Drive recovery planning efforts to mitigate schedule risks and resolve project or schedule delays.Review, validate, and evaluate subcontractor schedules; recommend adjustments and process improvements as needed.Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track and report on schedule performance.Represent the scheduling function in both internal and external program reviews, as well as customer meetings.Mentor and guide junior schedulers, promoting best practices in project scheduling.Travel as required to provide program or customer support. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.8 10 years of experience in project scheduling.Advanced expertise in schedule development, monitoring, control, and analysis.Prior experience with aerospace or Department of Defense program planning and scheduling is strongly preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contract, construction, and project startup processes.Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and associated reporting standards.PMI-SP or PMI-EVMP certification is a plus.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface at all organizational levels.Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities within a fast-paced environment.U.S. citizenship required.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
