Now Hiring for a Drafter!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented drafter to join our team, focusing on piping and mechanical layouts for industrial refrigeration systems. This role is essential to meet the increasing demand for our services and will involve creating P&IDs and drafting designs for industrial refrigeration systems using computer-aided design (CAD) equipment and software. Experience with Revit is necessary as training will not be provided.Responsibilities
  • Create piping and mechanical layouts for industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Draft and design P&IDs for building projects.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) equipment and software, including Plan view, Isometric, Elevations, Prefab, and P&ID drawings.
  • Work with AutoCAD and Revit to design and draft projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
Essential Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial drafting, preferably with a focus on piping refrigeration.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience with plant layout and Plant 3D.
  • Strong understanding of P&ID design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • An Associate's Degree in Drafting/Design is preferred.
  • Experience in electrical layout design is a plus.
Work EnvironmentThe company is headquartered in Omaha, NE, with two other offices. A new state-of-the-art office is upcoming in Gretna. Working hours are flexible, with options from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM.
