
CNC Programmer & Machinist - Precision Manufacturing

- The company location is in the Ball Center, Wisconsin area
- Program, set up, and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) to fabricate precision parts
- Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues independently to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect parts using advanced measuring tools (CMM, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Suggest and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality
- Train and mentor less-experienced machinists and act as a resource for technical knowledge
- Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and ensure compliance with safety standards
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; vocational school/technical certification is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machine programming and setup
- 2+ years of hands-on programming experience is a requirement
- Proficient in CNC programming (G-code, Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, or similar controls)
- Strong knowledge of materials, tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to work from complex blueprints and GD&T symbols
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices is a plus
- A solid work history with strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
