- Provide primary care for patients at a University of Colorado Hospital Internal Medicine Clinic for the following appointment types: new, continuity, hospital/ED follow-up, acute, and annual/wellness exams.
- Provide care for empaneled patients as well as acute care for teammate’s patients as needed.
- Share responsibilities for night, weekend, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice.
- There may be opportunities to serve as a preceptor for APP students.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.Instructor:
- Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
- Medicare/Medicaid credentials
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Board certified or board eligible as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Two (2) or more years of professional experience in a primary care setting
- Fellowships will count toward years of experience
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience in a primary care setting
- Fellowships will count toward years of experience
- Experience working with Epic or another EHR
- Demonstrates deep understanding of internal medicine across acute, chronic, and preventive care
- Able to apply evidence-based guidelines to clinical decision-making
- Stays current with emerging research and clinical best practices
- Able to build rapport and trust with diverse patient populations
- Communicates clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Able to use data to evaluate outcomes and improve care delivery
