Position: Project Manager Clean Energy & Regulatory ImplementationBecome a Project Manager Clean Energy & Regulatory Implementation and build a better tomorrow. In this job, youll lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support the implementation of CPUC-mandated requirements and clean energy policies. As a Project Manager, youll play a key role in shaping regulatory outcomes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting Californias clean energy transition. This is a dynamic position ideal for someone passionate about energy policy, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Responsibilities:Manage the activities of one or more moderate to large, short to mid-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomesExercise considerable latitude and judgment in developing plans, budgets, and resources, directing activities and actions, and determining deliverablesDecide appropriate methods and procedures for new projects with significant independenceEngage with all levels of management and act as a key consultant for both functional and business issuesFacilitate project execution, administration, correspondence, and flow of information/dataAnalyze and determine regulatory impacts and requirements of the projectIdentify deviations in the project plan, identify issues and lead efforts to resolve them without compromising the original project goals, budget, and timingForecast project resources, materials, and contract costs within standard toolsAnalyze policies and procedures and provide next-step recommendations as neededAssess project risks and develop contingency plansIdentify and communicate lessons learned and best practicesFollow effective project governance and reporting in-line with project management standardsMaintain progress reports, conduct change impact assessments, and use project management toolsMaintain a system to measure the effectiveness of the project development processEnsure the protection of physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets and manage sensitive data with high integrityMinimum Qualifications:Seven or more years of experience in project managementPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of California energy policy, CPUC regulatory processes, and clean energy programsExperience managing cross-functional projects involving regulatory compliance, rate design, or demand responseExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory or technical topics for diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projectsExperience developing and implementing process improvements or continuous improvement initiativesFamiliarity with stakeholder engagement, legislative review processes, and customer advocacy in a regulated environment
