Architectural Project Manager – National Retail Programs | Reston, VA (Hybrid) | Mid-Senior LevelAbout the RoleWe are seeking an Architectural Project Manager to lead national retail rollout programs, including convenience stores, fuel stations, and branded outlets. This role involves managing client relationships, overseeing prototype consistency across multiple states, and guiding projects from schematic design through construction administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-site retail programs, strong technical and leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to deliver impactful environments.What You’ll DoServe as the primary client liaison, building trusted relationships and guiding stakeholders through the design and delivery processLead full project lifecycles, including schematic design, entitlements, documentation, QA/QC, and construction administrationMentor staff on code interpretation, coordination, and detailing standardsManage jurisdictional approvals, regulatory submissions, and presentations to authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)Coordinate across disciplines (MEP, civil, interiors, branding, procurement) to ensure prototype consistencyPrepare proposals, contracts, fee estimates, schedules, and oversee project budgets and change directivesSupport bid packaging, contractor communications, and construction-phase servicesTravel occasionally for site visits and client meetingsWhat You Bring8–12 years of architectural experience, preferably with national retail, convenience rollouts, or multi-site programsBachelor’s degree in Architecture; professional licensure preferred or in progressProven experience with prototype design and rollout across multiple jurisdictionsProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of current building codes and construction standardsExcellent communication and coordination skills across teams and regulatory agenciesU.S. work authorization requiredWhy JoinThis is a leadership opportunity to influence large-scale national retail programs while working in a collaborative hybrid environment.
