We are seeking an experienced and motivated Intake Supervisor to join Modivcare PCS. As an Intake Supervisor, you will oversee the intake process, ensuring the accurate and efficient intake of new clients and the coordination of services. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and delegate tasks will contribute to the smooth operation of the intake department.is a local provider of Home Care Services with 25+ locations in Pennsylvania. We care for the aging and disabled populations in their homes and communities. We are a company with affiliate personal care brands across 7 states.

Responsibilities:Intake Process Management:Oversee the intake process, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.Monitor the intake queue and assign incoming referrals to intake associates for processing.Review and verify client information, documentation, and insurance coverage for accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with clinical teams, scheduling department, and other stakeholders to ensure timely initiation of services.Staff Supervision and Development:Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the intake team.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for new and existing intake associates.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.Quality Assurance:Perform quality checks on completed intake documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the intake process.Monitor key performance indicators and metrics related to intake and identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.Communication and Collaboration:Serve as a point of escalation for complex or high-priority cases.Liaise with internal departments, such as clinical teams, billing, and operations, to address issues or resolve conflicts.Collaborate with IT and other relevant stakeholders to optimize the use of intake software and systems.Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and insurance companies.Reporting and Analysis:Generate reports on intake activities, such as referral volumes, processing times, and outcomes.Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.Present findings and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare intake, admissions, or a related role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance requirements related to home healthcare services.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and intake software.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.We live and lead by our Values…
