- Develop, coordinate, manage, and maintain all client/caregiver schedules using our scheduling software.
- Consult with leadership to ensure schedules are appropriate to meet client needs.
- Review caregiver skill set, availability, preferences, and geographic information to appropriately match caregivers with existing and new clients.
- Adjust schedules as needed when changes in clients’ conditions warrant increases or decreases in service or changes to regular schedules. Document all changes as needed.
- Triage phone calls, communicating with office staff and caregiving staff to ensure client needs are met.
- Notify leadership of quality assurance issues promptly.
- Supervise, guide, and direct caregivers providing direct client care services, while accurately documenting and reporting caregiver job performance.
- Conduct caregiver performance reviews uphold company policy, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain client and caregiver confidentiality at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize and change direction as needed.
- Able to effectively communicate in person and on the phone in a clear and detailed manner.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- Strong computer skills and comfortable with technology – proficient with Microsoft office and familiar with or able to learn and use Wellsky scheduling software.
- Critical thinker with the ability to use good judgement and make good decisions.
- Team player with initiative and enthusiasm.
- Possess a strong desire to serve others -- former experience caregiving and/or at a home care or home health agency is a plus.
- Great energy, empathy, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
- A minimum of 3-5 years prior scheduling experience within an office setting.
- Experience with scheduling, preferably as a scheduler or staffing coordinator in home care, home health, or a medical office.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in the field, up to 10% of their time.
