- Human Resource Management Duties
- Recruit, train, develop and evaluate employees of the store to properly execute programs and foodservice safety procedures.
- Demonstrate effective behaviors.
- Coaches store employees.
- Create a positive store culture by treating employees fair and with respect.
- Ensure consistent quality of foodservice with proper training and communication to employees.
- Advise Store Manager of any policy violations
- Contributes to performance appraisals for all store personnel, as appropriate.
- Attend and participate in all store scheduled meetings
- Scheduling
- Accepts responsibility for store performance; for covering all shifts at all times.
- Responsible for assisting in the development of store schedules to assure proper labor is allocated to the foodservice operation to meet maximum efficiencies and company labor hour guidelines.
- Assist in scheduling cleaning tasks to meet local, state and company sanitation standards.
- Assist in creating preparation schedules to meet customer demands.
- Supervise and delegate work fairly and objectively; ensures a smooth workflow; meet deadlines.
- Ordering/Receiving Products
- Assist in product ordering, including entering build-to’s in the order book, scanning and transmitting order when assigned.
- Assist with adjustments to minimum and maximum levels in the POS system for all foodservice products as they relate to the creation of automatic ordering, where applicable.
- Assist in insuring all products are received according to Company policies for temperatures and quality.
- Responsible for alerting Management of any food product problems.
- Merchandising
- Attain objectives for all categories, using information pertaining to sales, waste and profitability.
- Check and maintain signage.
- Ensure promotion awareness through proper signage and merchandising.
- Check and maintain foodservice area appearance.
- Follow foodservice sanitation standards; including Restrooms
- Inventory/Cost Control
- Check and adjust foodservice ordering build-to's, spoilage sheets, ordering, etc.
- Perform weekly and month end inventories on all cost accounting items, where applicable.
- Responsible for preparation of Foodservice products for physical inventories.
- Sanitation
- Maintain acceptable health and sanitation results from local and state inspections.
- Compile, update and follow up on foodservice area duty and housekeeping lists according to standards set in Operations Manual.
- Ensure all employees are following wash hand/glove policies.
- Responsible for store level procedures to check and document all dates and temperatures on 'each shift.
- Ensure proper garbage disposal/recycling requirements met for foodservice.
- Accounting
- Prepares invoices for posting.
- Checks shift audit sheets.
- Verifies cash drops, charges, credit cards and voids.
- Prepares daily bank deposits and deposits funds in local bank.
- Enters all proper information in the back room PC and transmits to home office.
- Organizes and sends all required information to home office and files store copies.
- Be able to prepare food quickly and accurately according to Company Standard.
- Be able to provide fast and friendly service to each customer.
- Cooperate with and interact in a productive way with fellow employees.

- Be able to read, understand, write and communicate in the English language.
- Be able to perform mathematical calculations to be able to make change, complete shift checkouts and account for a variety of products during vendor check-in.
- Be able to check identification and pricing of merchandise.
- Be able to stock shelves and coolers.
- Be able to retrieve merchandise for customers.
- Be able to tolerate exposure to cleaning products and sanitizing solutions.
- Be able to change gas price signs.
- Be able to lift, carry and push up to 50 pound carry milk cartons, bag-in-the-box soft drink containers, etc., several times per shift.
- Be able to operate electronic cash register and other equipment.
- Be able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, remove and transport trash containers placing them in outside bin.
- Be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the store.
