As a Technology Engineer within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.**PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position**Needed requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • Solid experience as a software developer, with a strong background in Java, Springboot, and microservices.
  • Experience with PL/SQL and database design.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred experience:
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with financial services or Capital Market Industry and Trading platforms
  • Familiarity about the Market data providers such as Bloomberg, BlackRock and Argus.
  • Strong technical expertise: We are looking for a engineer who can write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. You should be an expert in Java, Springboot, and microservices, and you should be comfortable with PL/SQL.
  • Problem-solving skills: You should be able to think on your feet and solve complex problems. We're looking for someone with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills who can tackle production issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Team player: We are a collaborative team, and we want someone who is a great team player. You should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and be able to communicate effectively.
  • Passion for technology: We want someone who is passionate about technology and is always learning and growing. You should be a self-starter who is motivated to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.

  • Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.
  • Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
  • May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
  • Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
  • Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.
