We encourage you to visit our website at www.loenbro.com to learn more about our organization and who we are.Position OverviewThe FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Senior FP&A Manager with financial analysis, cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to drive visibility and informed decision-making across Loenbro’s operations. This position partners with both finance and operations leadership, providing insights into performance trends, WIP schedules, job costing, and strategic initiatives, while supporting continuous improvement across FP&A processes.Job Duties
  • Support preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.
  • Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing insights into key business drivers.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation of reporting packages and management presentations.
  • Partner with operations teams to review P&L statements, WIP schedules, and project/job-level financial results.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, service-line margin analysis, and business decision-making.
  • Support cash flow monitoring and analysis, including weekly forecasting, variance analysis, and recommendations to improve liquidity management.
  • Provide analytical support for acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic projects.
  • Contribute to creation of board-level reporting materials, linking operational results to financial outcomes.
  • Drive process improvements in reporting and analysis, leveraging systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; Vista Viewpoint ERP, Power Bi experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights.
  • Ability to clearly explain financial results and concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, project accounting, and job costing concepts; experience in construction or industrial services a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Initiative-taker with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial models and reporting solutions.
