RPG Programmer Analyst

The RPG AS/400 Programmer is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications on the AS/400 platform.Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of AS/400 (IBM iSeries) applications.
Write, debug, test, and document RPG code.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the AS/400 platform.
Participate in training sessions to master AS/400.
Provide day-to-day support and serve as a backup for the IT Manager as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and contribute to technical solutions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

5+ years of IT experience
Experience with midrange AS/400 systems and operations.
Experience developing code using RPG
Prior experience in Manufacturing, Distribution or Automotive environment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
Ability to quickly build relationships with internal customers.
