As part of our 21st Century Security vision, Lockheed Martin is investing in advancing multi-mission sensing capabilities. Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-mission aperture & multi-mission processing technologies through research, development, & demonstrations.
We are looking for highly talented Engineers, like yourself, with a passion for:
- Systems Engineering (Electronic Warfare)
- Systems Engineering (Integration & Test)

Who You Are
Below are four examples of the types of engineering backgrounds we are looking for within Converged sensors.
  • A Systems Engineer who can help design, develop, & deliver software defined Electronic Warfare (EW) mission capabilities. You will be on a product team dedicated to developing and demonstrating new Electronic Attack techniques using software defined radios paired with an embedded compute environment.
  • An ASIC & FPGA Engineer who will develop & deliver enabling capabilities on our Converged Sensors' firmware team. You will perform development and firmware architect tasks on a product team identifying, prototyping, & deploying state-of-the-art Radio Frequency (RF) transceivers with high performance embedded processors into integrated system solutions.
  • An Integration and Test (I&T) engineer to lead the cross-program test development & verification of advanced digital sensor architecture technologies. You will work across various enterprise sensor systems / boards to develop test requirements / infrastructure / methodologies as well as test the technology to enable transition to Flexible Communications, Radar, and Electronic Warfare (FlexCREW) systems. You have a strong background in Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • A dynamic Digital Hardware Engineer to lead the development & implementation of CCAs for use in advanced sensor architectures in size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) constrained environments

- Minimum 5 years relevant engineering experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required.Desired skills- Experience with embedded software development
- Familiarity with deploying Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities on FPGAs
- Expertise in digital signal processing & algorithm development
- Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
- Knowledge of Agile & DevSecOps methodologies
- Familiarity with Software Defined Radios & VITA 49.2 standard
