- Perform high-quality repairs to vehicle body parts, including frames, bumpers, doors, and fenders.
- Assess damage and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
- Remove damaged parts and replace them with new or reconditioned parts.
- Use welding, grinding, and sanding tools to restore the vehicle's structural integrity.
- Apply body filler, sand, and prime surfaces for painting.
- Conduct structural realignments using frame machines or other equipment.
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by masking and sanding surfaces.
- Communicate with clients to explain repair work and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Experience as an Auto Body Technician
- Certification in auto body repair or equivalent training (e.g., I-CAR, ASE).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and tools.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Experience with advanced auto body repair technologies
- Familiarity with different makes and models of vehicles.
- Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
