Azure Cloud Engineer - Raleigh, NC (Hybrid/Remote)

• Setup and configure Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and environments.
• Implement Azure Policies, RBAC permissions, and tagging standards.
• Deploy and support Azure networking components like VWAN, Azure Firewall, VNets, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.
• Configure and manage Azure Application Gateways.
• Automate infrastructure using Bicep, ARM, or PowerShell scripts.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and application issues between Azure and on-prem networks.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Monitor Azure environments and configure alerting, logging, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams.
• Enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance policies.

• 3+ years of experience managing and deploying Azure landing zone architecture in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of strong Azure networking skills (VWAN, Express Route, VPN, Firewall, VNET), including hybrid networking with on-premise.
• 3+ years of experience designing Azure environments with a "private-by-default” approach.
• 3+ years of familiarity with implementing and managing Azure Policies, RBAC, and resource tagging strategies.
• 5+ years of strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
