Agency Director
Hours: 16 hours weekly
Pay: $38/hrFlexible with days and hours Will work directly with current RN staff.Provides supervision for In-home Aides, creates and updates the client's plan of care, and insures the provision of quality services that meet applicable state/federal regulations.
- Provide general supervision of In-home Aides ensuring quality service is provided to clients.
- Conduct needs assessments for clients to ensure the needs of the client can be met by the agency's resources.
- Create and regularly update the plan of care for clients according to Home Instead policies and applicable licensing regulations.
- Ensure that In-home Aides have the competencies required for the clients to whom they are assigned.
- Provide pre-service and in-service training for staff as needed.
- Supervise the use of Universal Precautions by all staff.
- Oversee the development of an Initial Plan of Care for each Client.
- Ensure that each plan of care is updated every 90 days.
- Provide supervision of In-home Aides according to state regulations and Home Instead Policies and Procedures.
11. Ensure the timely and accurate production of all required paperwork for the client's plan of care, Medicaid/Medicare, Home Instead policies and procedures, and state/federal licensing and/or regulations. * Promote the longevity of In-home Aides through supportive supervision.
- Report allegations of abuse by the In-home Aides or any other person to the Agency Director, the appropriate licensing board, the Division of Facility Services and any other appropriate state agency.
- Authorized in the absence of the Agency Director, to be acting Director in matters concerning services.
- Any other duties assigned by the Agency Director.
- Must be a currently licensed RN in good standing with the NC Board of Nursing.
- Ability to provide supportive supervision to In-home aides and clients.
- Previous geriatric, management, and training experience are preferred.
- Ability to provide quality training to staff and to provide an accurate assessment of the competencies of In-home Aides.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to learn new tasks quickly. Excellent business and personal references..
- Experience with handling client concerns and a strong desire to provide the highest quality service.
- Meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal History and motor vehicle driving record.
- Must be bondable.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Professional integrity with no history of abuse toward a person.
16 hours per week. Flexible with days and hours each week.
Other:
The probationary period for the position is a minimum of 90 days. This position is renewed annually as part of the performance evaluation process. This position is an at-will position; both the employee and the employer can terminate the employment relationship at any time with or without cause or notice. The employee is asked to provide the employer with a minimum of 14 days notice of resignation to prevent the disruption of client services.
