Reporting to the 2nd Shift production manager at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility, you will oversee 2nd Shift team members to attain production goals. You will manage plant process improvements and manage production staff while ensuring resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules. You will support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service. You will manage multiple responsibilities of the business while creating an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve results.What will you do?Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained. You will enforce all plant rules, regulations, and procedures while working with facility departments to use available resources to obtain plant Indicators.Ensure our Quality rules, regulations and standard procedures are followed. Oversee sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food safe environment.Promote a safe and cooperative workforce, free of conflict. When issues arise, investigate and resolve promptly. Mentor team members on proper conflict resolutions.Promote employee engagement by ensuring business awareness through hourly, daily, weekly, and other relevant periodic plant Indicators updates.Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback for work performance improvement.Plan and prioritize all work activities while ensuring at least an 80% presence on the production floor. Work directly with Hourly Team Leads on daily standard work and development of their skills and succession planning.Maintain awareness and adherence to employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.Maintain timecards of team members and issue discipline.Attend daily DDS meetings.Support our hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.Do you Have what it takes?High school diploma or GED equivalent.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred2+ years supervisory experience.2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.Weekends and off shift work flexibilityRelocation assistance is available for this position.
