Associate Construction ManagerLocation: Charleston,SCSalary:90,000-130,000As an Associate Project Manager (Construction) within our growing team, you will beresponsible for developing task order proposals, supporting the management team in trackingtask budgets, monitoring activity schedules, monitoring the on-site subcontractors,implementing product quality standards, and otherwise supporting the Project and ProgramManagers. You will assist in the management of technical and administrative staff on a widevariety of complex projects across the United States.We seek high-potential individuals who can learn quickly, grow with the organization, andassume additional responsibility as the organization expands over the next several years. Yourresponsibilities will include but are not limited to:Ensuring project completion within budget/schedule and in conformance with specificationsMonitor implementation of a comprehensive set of Energy Conservation MeasuresReviewing contracts and subcontracts and managing subcontractorsMonitoring project financials and reporting to the Project ManagerDeveloping and maintaining design schedules for approvalResolving field-initiated questions with the technical design teamParticipating and attending design review meetings and recording meeting minutes and trackingaction itemsCoordinating the development of project deliverables with all parties involvedParticipating in building and maintaining a positive client relationshipEnsure subcontractor compliance with safety standards, codes, regulationsReview monitoring and verification plans and protocols, commissioning protocols, and associatedpost-implementation operations & maintenance protocolsAssist with business development responsibilities during development and implementationRequired and Preferred Qualifications:Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with high aptitude, energy, and motivation,and an acute passion for managing sustainability projects. Critical requirements include:Bachelors degree preferred, specifically in engineering or construction management.2+ years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering, thetechnical degree may be considered in lieu of experience.Ability to work irregular hours during implementationDemonstrated ability to function in high performing, multi-disciplinary teams that provide reliablecustomer satisfactionAbility to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve themExperience and competency with Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera,Procore, etc.)Proven aptitude along with strong writing and speaking skillsSelf-directed personality with a commitment to excellenceA passion in the areas of energy efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainabilityDetail-oriented and honed observation skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal, organizational, creative problem-solving, and leadership skillsAbility to anticipate and solve problems that are not fully defined or expectedWillingness to travel 40-60% of the time or relocateOSHA-30 certification preferred
