As a Manufacturing Engineer, your focus will be on driving solutions, and your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering verbal and written status reports, highlighting project milestones and progress
- Communicating project risks, solutions, and schedule impacts to stakeholders
- Representing the team in programmatic reviews and status meetings
- Creating and updating work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and other shop floor documentation to support production needs
- Coordinating shop floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues
- Organizing discussions and approaches to Root Cause analysis of component non-conformances and ensuring implementation of effective Corrective Action
- Monitoring and reporting on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs

This position can be in Dallas or Orlando.MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Effective project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience working with cross-functional groups
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems and issues as they arise
- Experience with data analytics
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action tools
- Understanding of manufacturing principles and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
- Proficient in utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience using precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment
- General understanding of industry standards and common specifications
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9000, AS 9100)
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
