- Research and identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, reliability, and compliance.
- Conduct supplier assessments, and capability reviews when necessary.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with company goals (cost savings, sustainability, risk reduction, etc.).
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities.
- Lead sourcing initiatives for the Facilities Management Department and work closely with Central Sourcing.
- Prepare and review RFPs, RFQs, and other bid documents.
- Evaluate proposals and bids based on cost, technical merit, and vendor performance history.
- Support contract renewals, renegotiations, and amendments as needed.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative sourcing, or vendor consolidation.
- Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and evaluate value-added offerings from suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and support vendor scorecard programs.
- Address and resolve supplier issues including quality, delivery, or service concerns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in procurement, IT, operations, legal, and finance to ensure sourcing needs are met.
- Gather input on sourcing specifications and business requirements.
- Provide guidance to departments on sourcing processes and supplier capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
- Develop & generate sourcing reports, KPIs, and status updates to leadership.
