The Benefits Reporting Specialist ensures accurate insurance benefits reporting, supports customers in navigating financial and insurance-related questions, and contributes to process improvements through trend identification. This role involves extensive cross-team collaboration and direct interaction with Lingraphica’s customers, including but not limited to people with communication challenges, carepartners, and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs).Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Communicates insurance benefits for patients, ensuring accuracy and clarity in trial requirements and financial considerationsAssists patients and carepartners in understanding their insurance coverage, eligibility, and available financial options, guiding them through the process with expert-level knowledgeCollects Out-of-Pocket Waivers and communicates financial assistance outcomes to relevant parties.Ensures clear and proactive communication by following up with patients, caregivers, and SLPs to confirm understanding and address outstanding questionsProactively identifies and addresses customer needs by offering timely and meaningful solutionsCollaborates with cross-functional teams to improve processes, shares insights, and enhances the overall customer experienceCollects, analyzes, and reports key metrics within the Funding Team to help identify trends and improve operational efficiencyMaintains CRM accuracy and compliance, ensuring all patient interactions, benefits data, and required documentation meet company and HIPAA standardsCarries out responsibilities by following established department processes and proceduresPerforms other duties and special projects as assignedQualificationsSkills, Competencies, and Experience:General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insuranceAbility to deliver a superior customer experienceAbility to communicate effectively via email, phone call, and textMaintains a calm and professional demeanor when assisting customersAbility to identify and address the needs of customers; offer meaningful and timely information in responseProactively report trends and customer feedback, and recommend/implement creative solutionsStrong communication skills with both external customers and internal departmentsWorkload flexibility, open to change, and the ability to prioritize tasksAbility to adjust to the needs of people with disabilitiesEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED, requiredAssociates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredProficiency with HubSpot, Office 365, Zoom, preferred1 year experience in healthcare related environment such as rehabilitation, insurance, or medical clinic, preferredAdditional InformationTravel Requirements:Travel to Lingraphica’s home office and to cities within the continental United States for company related meetings and conferences required 2-4 times per year.Work Environment & Physical Demands:Incumbent works from home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access. The starting salary range for this position is $50,000 and $53,000 per year. Placement in the starting pay is based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
