- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Provide a secure environment that promotes self-confidence and independence.
- Partner with parents through regular communication, conferences, and updates.
- Work closely with assistant teachers and staff to maintain a positive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding classroom needs and concerns.
- Ensure all health, safety, and licensing standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Follow emergency procedures and center policies.
- Train, mentor, and oversee assistant teachers and classroom staff.
- Model best practices in early childhood education.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for children and families.
