
Set-Up Technician

- Know and follow all of the Company's safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others.
- Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Set up tools with needed auxiliary equipment in order to ensure press is ready for start-up.
- Perform line clearance.
- Perform proper tool pulls when production run is complete.
- Resolve water line malfunctions when needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance to nozzle tips.
- Perform preventative maintenance to jobs that are currently running.
- Follow general requirements and cleaning for a cleanroom environment.
- Maintain safe work area.
- Ensures materials are dried and prepared according to specifications before being used in production.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program, or a four-year university program, in a related field of study is preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience or accrued on-the-job training and experience.
- Fork truck and Lock out Tag out Certification.
- Plastic injection molding experience.
