- Schedule: 1.0 FTE position. Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy Urology practice. Two (2) years of NP or PA experience is preferred in Urology, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine/Walk-In Care or Surgical Care preferred. Would consider a new grad with experience as an RN in Urology, Emergency Room, OB or Surgical areas.
- Call Schedule: Opportunity to support MD with taking first call from the floor, or ED 5 days/month that is rotated with the other NP on the team.
- Practice Detail: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, outpatient Urology practice with opportunities to round in the hospital, and assist in the OR.

- Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
- Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
- Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Minnesota Board of Nursing is also accepted. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Minnesota Board of Nursing OR current home state license, if considered multi-state/Compact State, is also accepted. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in. - Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
