We are committed to Continuous Improvement, not just in our factories or processes, but in our people.Primary FunctionResponsible for all Distribution Center operations, including, but not limited to, budgeting expenses, finished goods inventory storage and shipment, inventory record accuracy, providing appropriate staffing levels, personnel development, distribution operating efficiency and establishing and directing work guidelinesResponsibilities
  • Responsible for employee development and ensuring that all employees have the resources necessary to complete job assignments on a timely basis and work toward identified career objectives.
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving operating efficiency of the Distribution Center.
  • Responsible for identifying and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to provide desired high customer service level.
  • Responsible for continuously working toward achieving high inventory accuracy performance in all finished goods warehouse locations.
  • Responsible for budgeting and controlling expenses in the entire distribution process.
  • Responsible for complete and on-time customer order fulfillment (assuming product and equipment are available).
  • Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe and clean work environment.
  • Responsible for developing all department procedures and ensuring procedure adherence.
  • Responsible for establishing and monitoring performance metrics involved in company distribution functions.
  • Responsible for determining and obtaining peripheral temporary warehouse space as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a leader with excellent communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to management multiple, complex projects simultaneously while meeting desired performance metrics.
  • Highly proficient in distribution and warehousing computer-based models within integrated computer-based system.
  • Experience with radio frequency equipment and bar coding background.
