The Traffic Shaping Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing network traffic using Sandvine products. This role involves implementing traffic shaping policies, monitoring network performance, and ensuring efficient bandwidth utilization.Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage traffic shaping policies using Sandvine products.
- Monitor network traffic and performance to identify congestion points and optimize traffic flow.
- Collaborate with network engineers to design and deploy traffic management solutions.
- Analyze network data to develop and refine traffic shaping strategies.
- Ensure compliance with network performance standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for traffic shaping issues.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Sandvine products and traffic management technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Sandvine products and traffic shaping techniques.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, traffic management, and quality of service (QoS) principles.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and Subscriber Policy Broker (SPB) solutions.
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
- Certifications in network management or related fields.
