Responsible for Fremont and Livermore campus mechanical infrastructure systems
Core mechanical systems of responsibility include, but not limited to:
Mechanical/Process systems (Process Cooling Water, Clean Dry Air, Chilled Water, Hot Water, Air Handling systems, Exhaust Air systems, Humidification systems)
Provide mechanical engineering design review input and approval for facility infrastructure and process tool installation projects
Operational ownership of mechanical system performance
Provide mechanical engineering construction input and commissioning support for facility infrastructure projects.
Support as-build documentation of mechanical system layouts and P&ID's
Maintain load/capacity studies for facility infrastructure systems
Perform review and approval of cleanroom certification reports
Provide direction of air and water balancing services
Drive improvement of infrastructure system performance and up-time.
Work directly with contractors and service providers to ensure delivery of operational results.
Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis during project design development phase.
Capital and expensed project financial management and control experience
Who We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 10 years of high tech/semiconductor R&D lab/wafer fab experience
Professional Engineer license, recommended
Experience managing a team.
Knowledge of process PLC and commercial HVAC control systems
Experience with standard operating procedure creation and training skills
Solid written and oral communication skills
Assertive nature and willingness to support customer needs when challenged
Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and assignments
Experience with energy efficiency improvement projects

Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.In addition, the successful candidate for this position will become eligible for a comprehensive set of outstanding benefits.
