Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.ResponsibilitiesPerform trauma support patient care activities in the Emergency Department under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist with procedures ordered by a physician and/or a Registered Nurse (RN) under scope of Board of Nursing and department rules and regulations.
- Respond to Code Blue and trauma resuscitation calls within the department.
- Perform clerical duties as assigned.
- Provide training support to other staff members under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting.
- Certified Home Health Aide credentialed from the state of Wisconsin.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
