PAY RATE: $33.81/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Industry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Provide direction to technicians; ensure tasks are completed within allotted timeframesCoordinate with other departments to ensure on-time aircraft deliveryInstall, modify, and fabricate wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawingsTrain and mentor team members in associated work assignmentsApply advanced skills and innovation to improve team efficiency and qualityAssist engineering with troubleshooting and repairs per engineering directionMaintain accurate logs and recordsEnsure all work meets regulatory and customer requirementsEnforce compliance with the company’s FOD program, tool control, 5S, and safety proceduresInspect completed work, including that of other team members, to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspectionProperly maintain shop equipment and tools as assignedCoordinate shift transitions in the absence of the team leaderParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events)Assist or back up the team coordinator as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredEither:Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years of related work experience, orFour (4) years of experience in an avionics/electronic career fieldAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagramsWorking knowledge of policies and procedures, inspection manuals, and relevant process specificationsProven ability to quickly transition to new tasks with minimal impact on goals or scheduleStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with computer use and basic keyboarding skillsMust be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
