Building Location: Essentia Health Deerwood Clinic and PharmacyDepartment: 4332200 GENERAL RADIOLOGY - DRWDJob Description: Responsible for administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, providing patient services, and performing radiographic procedures using radiographic modalities. Will also be responsible for performing tasks to support pre-analytical and post- analytical functions within Essentia Health Laboratories. Promotion of patient safety while performing specimen collection and processing.Education Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:General x-ray: Performing supervised and unsupervised x-ray exams in an outpatient & inpatient settingProviding optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques during administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging that is appropriate for the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death)Upon proven competency, operators are limited by the exams they can perform on small children and babies.
