Description:A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GOLF CLUBHOUSE SUPERVISOR:Our club in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking to hire a full-time golf clubhouse supervisor. You help to ensure the highest standards in appearance, hospitality and service for staff for the golf clubhouse while ensuring the timeliness of food and beverage service. You assist in the supervision and training of all golf clubhouse staff. You are careful in how you help to supervise the department's budget, while you help to develop and implement programs to increase revenues through repeat business and higher check averages.You are precise in floor plan designs matching to daily reservations. You anticipate dining room and Men's Grill set-up based on guest counts and member requests. Taking pride in your bar and dining area, you are conscientious about staff adhering to health codes and cleaning procedures as well as completing side work. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their guests have a great experience!WORK SCHEDULE:This full-time supervisor position requires working variable shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays We serve from 11:00 AM until the last golfer has an opportunity to order.WHO WE ARE:Since 1887, Piedmont Driving Club has a wonderful history of entertaining the social elite of the South, as well as countless notable guests from all walks of life.   • Gender must be male (BFOQ)
  • 18 years or older (to serve alcohol)
  • One+ years of dining room supervisory experience
  • A four-year college degree in hospitality or related preferred
  • Private club experience is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills
Experience in a country club environment as a supervisor and some wine knowledge are highly desirable but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
