- Facilitate and own all aspects of product lifecycle management for Aftermarket products including price, volume, margin, portfolio development, product roadmap development, etc.
- Oversee all product portfolio strategic initiatives, including branding, new product development, portfolio optimization, and channel expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with all cross-functional and category leadership teams (sales, marketing, engineering & manufacturing operations) to deliver product line growth & monthly/quarterly execution to deliver on financial targets.
- Partner with Strategic Marketing Manager (SMM) in the gathering of market data, consumer data, and voice of customer (VOC) activities to provide input on potential new products/services and associated value propositions.
- Analyze sales data for trends and partner with Sales & Marketing to establish channel strategy, forecasting, develop demand planning, and participate in integrated business planning process.
- Serve as subject matter expert and partner on the development of sales & training collateral including presentations (internal and external), product literature, technical publications, and web-based product information tools.
- Have earned a Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree. MBA preferred.
- Have 3-5 years of applicable experience, with at least 2 years as a Product Manager, supporting a product line from a technical or business standpoint. This could include analyzing and evaluating the success metrics of products and features or collaborating with design & engineering teams to deliver innovative products/features.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to manage a portfolio of manufactured products.
- Proven experience in developing strategic product lifecycle plans for NPD roadmap development, current state maintenance, product line rationalization, sun-setting, etc.
- Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions from large data sets.
- Proven ability to conduct complex financial analyses, to develop financial models, and interpret P&L statements.
- Up to 25% travel for customer visits, tradeshows, conferences, and other business-related needs.
