Sr Seed Sales Rep for California's Central Valley - $90 - 110k + commission. Relocation may be required.Sr Seed Sales Rep Primary Function:Lead the Ag Sales Team and provide support for existing customer base in addition to acquiring new customers. Provide input on seed plan and variety portfolio. Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of communication and customer service.Sr Seed Sales RepDuties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage seed sales and business strategy for Central and Northern CA
  • Ability to make Seed recommendations to growers on pollinators, forage crops and cover crops
  • Build and develop strong customer relationships in key growing regions
  • Manage product inventory to maximize potential sales and minimize risk
  • Collaborate in developing pricing and supply guidelines.
  • Understanding of regional seed markets
  • Prepare annual Sales and Margin reports
Sr Seed Sales Rep Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in Agronomy, Ag Business or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of agricultural industry sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Central and Northern CA cover crops, native seeds, and pollinator habitats
  • Excellent ability to work autonomously and actively manage customers, suppliers, and employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Sales Forecasting and reporting
  • Understanding of Organic processing certifications
