- Manage seed sales and business strategy for Central and Northern CA
- Ability to make Seed recommendations to growers on pollinators, forage crops and cover crops
- Build and develop strong customer relationships in key growing regions
- Manage product inventory to maximize potential sales and minimize risk
- Collaborate in developing pricing and supply guidelines.
- Understanding of regional seed markets
- Prepare annual Sales and Margin reports
- 4-year degree in Agronomy, Ag Business or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of agricultural industry sales experience.
- Knowledge of Central and Northern CA cover crops, native seeds, and pollinator habitats
- Excellent ability to work autonomously and actively manage customers, suppliers, and employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Sales Forecasting and reporting
- Understanding of Organic processing certifications
