Description :First Merchants Bank is seeking a Call Center Specialist to join our Customer Care team in Daleville, IN! This full time position will focus on being a knowledgeable team member who can identify and respond to our customers’ needs. We look to you to provide an experience that exceeds the customer’s expectations!As part of this role you will:
  • Provide excellent customer service by:
  • Handing Customer calls, including providing the best answers to queries and concerns.
  • Managing challenging situations involving dissatisfied customers, though patient assistance and supportive resolution.
  • Guiding callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company website or using the company’s products and services.
  • Reviewing customer accounts and provide updates and information.
  • Working with other team members and leadership to improve customer service.
  • Show your team and our customers the following every day:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
The following would be a plus:
  • Prior experience in banking and/or call center environment.
