We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead financial operations, enhance reporting systems, and provide the financial leadership that enables continued growth. This role oversees all accounting and compliance functions while serving as a key partner to executive leadership.Key Responsibilities:Lead all financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance processes with speed, clarity, and accuracy.Manage all AP/AR functions, job cost reporting, and project performance tracking.Deliver timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements while driving continuous improvement in reporting cadence and quality.Build and maintain budgeting models and forecasting tools aligned with business growth strategy and project workflows.Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on accountability, responsiveness, and system optimization.Ensure every project is accurately costed, every hour is correctly coded, and all reports reflect operational reality.Partner with the COO to support board-level reporting, capital strategy, and growth planning.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years, minimum of 2-3 years as a Financial Controller, construction or project-based business industry is a plus.Significant experience with Power BI and financial data visualization.Proven track record in job costing, margin control, and cross-functional financial leadership.Strong grasp of project financials, cash flow management, and accounting compliance.Exceptional communication, leadership, and systems-thinking capabilities.
