Kelly Services is seeking a Contract Administrator for a large publicly-traded company and a leading multi-line healthcare enterprise that serves as a major intermediary for both government-sponsored and privately insured health care programs located in San Rafael, CA. This is within the Provider Network Contracting team.

Location: San Rafael, CA 94910
Type: Contract-To-Hire
Length: 3 Months
Desired Start Date: 10/28/19
Schedule: 8am – 5pm, M-F
Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities:
\t * Will negotiating contracts with providers. Looking and analyzing rate increase requests. Single case agreements (AKA letter agreements)
\t * Administers or negotiates contracts/subcontracts and associated change orders/modifications.
\t * Researches contract interpretations and drafts conclusions.
\t * Researches contract/subcontract requirements and drafts position papers or correspondence.
\t * Oversees accuracy and integrity of databases. Gathers data, builds/runs reports.
\t * Maintains contract files. Maintains centralized filing system for the department and works with key customers in the retrieval and organization of data. Assembles provider contract documents and handles distribution to customers that include copies of contracts and routine contract distributions.
\t * Identifies problems and data trends and recommends appropriate follow up. Assists in the development of desktop procedures related to data management and initiatives.
\t * Assists in the education of data entry processes for new trainees on departmental systems and processes.
\t * Coordinates and assists on projects.

Requirements:
\t * Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
\t * Minimum 3 years contracting experience in healthcare
\t * Working knowledge of contract management processes, claims processing procedures, reimbursement and payment methodologies, and claims systems requirements and controls.
\t * Experience with statistics and the application of higher level mathematical models to medical and pharmacy claims data.
\t * Proficient in Word and Excel
\t * Roles that have done well: contract administrator, contracts analyst, provider relations, hospital contracting
