- Supervise all shift activities including injection molding, automated assembly, packaging, and material handling.
- Monitor production schedules, coordinate labor, and allocate resources to meet output and quality goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE, and accident reporting.
- Conduct shift meetings, assign job duties, and maintain team accountability.
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues in collaboration with maintenance and process technicians.
- Support training, coaching, and performance evaluations of machine operators and process techs.
- Monitor production metrics (scrap, downtime, yield, cycle time) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate mold changeovers and startups to minimize downtime and ensure process stability.
- Ensure accurate shift documentation and reporting via ERP or MES systems.
- Uphold APG’s quality standards through inspections, audits, and adherence to SOPs.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a plastic injection molding or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, materials, and tooling.
- Experience in a high-volume, automated, or cleanroom production facility is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, GMP) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, production software)
