- Scheduling Coordinates staffing schedules and may fill in as needed in various positions.
- Develop Develops menus, recipes and concepts for retail, catering, and patient menus, as required.
- Policies Ensures all policies, procedures, regulations and standards are in place and updated as required.
- Resolves Concerns Investigates, evaluates and resolves concerns of those we are privileged to serve.
- Appropriate Levels Maintains appropriate levels of food/supplies/equipment/food prep/cash handling/stocking for one or more areas, as required.
- Cleaning & Maintenance Oversees the cleaning and sanitation for areas of responsibility.
- People Management Activities Provides innovative and consistent vision to lead the staff and department toward the future of support services.
- Administrative Supervises and completes all required data and records for the department, which include one or more areas including expenses, departmental reporting, statistics, and inventory and supply/resource management.
- Performance Management Supervises direct reports and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
- Preferred associate degree
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years Hospital food service Preferred.
- Food Handler Certification -. while working in Illinois required
- Food Handler Certification -. while working in Indiana preferred.
- Days Shift and every other weekend.
