American Plastics is a leading supplier of injection molded products with multiple facilities in 4 states.About the Position: As a Mold Service Technician, you will play a vital role in the production of our quality parts. You will ensure that the molds/tool room are clean and safe, assist with preventative maintenance, transport molds safely to the production floor, and assisting with the install/repair of the molds in our injection molding machines.Duties & Expectations on the Job:
  • Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
  • Trouble shoot and repair molds
  • Adhere to Preventative Maintenance Schedule for molds in service
  • Make minor adjustments to molds in production
  • Trouble shoot issues on floor
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will enjoy:Compensation:Mold Service Technician starts at $23 an hour.Fixed Schedule:Mon. through Fri. 7am to 3:30pm.

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Highly motived and eager to learn.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
