β Communicate closely with plants, terminals and customer service teams to confirm delivery schedules.
β Monitor inventory levels with business units to ensure delivery readiness.
β Respond to transportation-related inquiries and resolve service issues professionally.
β Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities in shipping operations.
β Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external carriers.
β Crosstrain within the team and support broader transportation functions.
β Develop and deliver training content to strengthen team capabilities.
β Apply sound decision-making skills using data, timelines and operational insights.What You'll Bringβ High school diploma or GED (required).
β 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics or a related environment.
β Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations (49CFR) and NMFC guidelines.
β Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
β Effective communication, active listening and conflict resolution skills.
β Ability to perform under pressure, manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
β Strong negotiation and carrier management experience.
β Team player with a big-picture mindset and strong personal accountability.
β Comfortable training others and sharing knowledge with teammates.Physical RequirementsπΉ Frequent movement, including standing, walking, sitting, reaching and hearing.
