This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2026 with the potential to work part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $20.30 with paid company holidays. Students work with experienced members of these functional teams.
  • This position will support the company’s electric utilities’ regulated and non-regulated generation planning processes and market operations.
  • The Student will receive exposure to the following:
  • Generator Interconnection Process within the Eastern Interconnection
  • Capacity planning and auction processes
  • Regulatory processes
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Market Strategist staff on projects while developing skills, technical expertise, interpersonal and communication skills, and project management skills.
  • Develop functional, process and system documentation
  • Develop and implement workflow improvements
  • Develop project tracking tools
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business , Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical ability and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of the energy market
  • Fast learner
  • Strong curiosity – desire to learn
  • Ability to research independently, analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Able to navigate amongst ambiguity
End Date: 11/15/2025Pay Range Minimum: $20.30Pay Range Maximum: $23.43The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
