- Provide regulatory and compliance support for innovation projects
- Develop new and update existing labeling materials
- Develop and revise export documentation
- Use digital and software tools for horizon scanning and compliance
- Support root cause analysis and risk assessments for ingredient updates and product reformulations impacting labeling
- Manage own projects as well as support other Regulatory Specialists
- Develop a metal compositions database for process equipment.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis for failures
- Develop FMEA for specific processes.
- Lead Food Safety and Quality Improvement Projects
- Support innovation projects
- Support capacity expansion projects
- Develop new and update existing specifications
- Map processes to improve reliability
- Provide assistance with gathering data/information
- Evaluate software applications
- Develop training materials
- Support root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action steps
- Manage own projects as well as support other Quality Specialists
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication skills are critical in this assignment
- Strong computer skills
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel; SAP and Microsoft Power BI experience a plus
- Able to effectively address all levels within the organization
- Strong influencing and leadership skills with the ability to challenge decisions and facilitate change
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with and influence the decision-making of senior management

- The successful candidate must be capable of working independently after receiving direction
- **Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) while working in the production (and office) areas
- Enrolled in college, pursuing a degree
- Preferred declared majors are food science, food law and regulation, nutrition science, chemistry, biology, mechanical engineering, or a similar discipline
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.8 is required, an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
