Pay Rate: $30.00 per hourGeneral Purpose of JobLight and heavy PM/ repair on industrial freight handling equipment and truck equipment. Driving of company truck and towing a trailer requiredJob Tasks Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of freight handling equipment as directed
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of truck equipment as directed
Pick up and deliver freight handling equipment to and from the terminals and the shop
Use of many different hand and power tools
Perform minor welding and cutting
Perform proper disposal of all fluids used in the PM and repairs
Fill out work orders on all work performed
Communication via use of cell phone and text messaging Maintain equipment, tools, truck, and shop area in good order
Adhere to all com an safety policiesWork Activities Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment – Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, aircraft, or water craft.
Handling and Moving Objects – Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
