- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2260-$2430
- Shift: Day shift, 8-hour days (07:00 - 15:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Equipment Used: GE, Phillips, Siemens
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Active Kentucky license or compact state license required at submission
- Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (N), NMTCB, BLS
- Experience with trauma level I preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to float to various hospital units as needed
- Two professional references required
- First-time healthcare travelers are welcome
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including 3 Phase, Abdominal, Adenosine infusion, Bone, Brain, Cancer Survey, Captopril, DTPA Aerosol, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, Flow/Function, I-123 Uptake Scan, Liver Imaging, Perfusion, Persantine Infusion, Pharmacological Stress, Renal, Sestamibi parathyroid scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, Ventricular, Whole Body scans, and more
- Operate GE, Phillips, and Siemens nuclear medicine equipment safely and efficiently
- Start and maintain peripheral IVs for patient procedures
- Provide clinical support for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams across inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, CCU, and NICU settings
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Float to different hospital units as required for clinical support
