Basic Qualifications :Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position:ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:Candidates should have familiarity with analog and digital systems design and implementation, in particular broadband RF intercept. Useful coursework may include Communication Systems, Satellite Systems Engineering, Radar Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Multirate Signal Processing, Adaptive Filter Theory, Detection Theory, and Array Processing. Experience with standard laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Experience with MATLAB and C/C++ required, Simulink and VHDL a plus. Candidates should be self-motivated with technical direction but also know when to ask questions. Progeny’s EW systems employ a broad range of technologies across ADCs, DACs, RF components, FPGAs, high speed networking, GPUs, high-end servers, databases, cybersecurity and user interfaces. Candidates within the group will be exposed to all facets of these systems and work with technical experts across the team in each. Many programs execute from concept through lifecycle/field support and work consists of theory, hands on practice, and test and support.What sets you apart:
