This role involves performing endotoxin and bioburden testing, preparing microbial cultures, conducting growth promotion and water activity testing, and supporting general lab maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on microbiology experience, strong documentation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented settingDuties Include:
  • Endotoxin and bioburden testing
  • General lab duties (cleaning, stocking, cold room 5S, etc.)
  • Challenge recovery of drug substance and raw material
  • Preparation of microbial cultures used in for validation protocols, developmental studies, and growth promotion
  • Growth promotion testing
  • Mold spore suspensions
  • Water activity testing
  • Plate reading
  • Data verification and review
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Quality Control Microbiology laboratory
  • Hands-on experience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic techniques, including:
  • Bioburden testing (membrane filtration)
  • Endotoxin testing (LAL)
  • Familiarity with cGMP guidelines (preferred)
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Experience using LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong understanding of experimental design and scientific methodology, with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
  • Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or the need for sponsorship

Additional Details:The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed.
