- Design and implementation of voice and data communications systems.
- Security systems, including access control, CCTV, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
- Passenger processing systems and operational technology solutions.
- Networking, IT infrastructure, and digital signage.
- Construction oversight and contractor coordination for technology and security systems.
- Development of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Consulting with aviation and airport clients to develop strategic technology roadmaps.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and designers, to achieve project goals.
- Presenting technical concepts to stakeholders through professional reports and presentations.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology and security system design, specifically in aviation and airport environments.
- Proven ability to develop detailed engineering design documents, construction budgets, and specifications.
- Capability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects and engineers (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
- Strong leadership, client engagement, and project management skills.
- Ability to oversee contractor installations, system integration, and testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and technical teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., NEC, BICSI, TIA/EIA, TSA, FAA, FCC, CBP).
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer).
- PSP (Physical Security Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional).
- CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist - Design).
- Professional Engineering (PE) License.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience or technical degree in related disciplines will be considered.
- Up to 25-40% regional, domestic, and international travel may be required.
- Must be able to pass criminal history record checks necessary for obtaining security badges at client facilities.
- Must be eligible to handle and manage Secure Sensitive Information (SSI) as governed by federal regulations.
