The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years to join our expanding Pediatric Hematology/Oncology practice. Appointees will manage the inpatient care of children with cancer and blood disorders at Comer Children’s Hospital, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including chemotherapy administration, procedures, and resident/trainee supervision. UChicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital is a free standing 165 bed children's hospital with a full complement of pediatric services.Appointees will join the Section of Hematology/Oncology, a multidisciplinary program which collaborates with the Department of Surgery, the Department of Radiation Oncology, and the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center and affiliated sites: Advocate Children’s Hospital and NorthShore University Health System. The group is responsible for the diagnosis and management of children in the largest pediatrics program in the state of Illinois, the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance (CCHA).Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, and 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program.
