- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study
- Completed an associate degree or higher
- Completed the PA Entry Level Credential of Competency
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, and/or behavior management
- Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
- Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
- Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
- Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
- Celebrating small victories every single day
- Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
